MaxID is an online verification software program that can verify your identity anywhere within 15 minutes. Applicants simply require a smartphone or tablet that has Internet connection.

The process for MaxID:

  1. You will receive an email about a Verification of Identity request.
  2. You will use your smartphone or tablet to follow the instructions and enter your details, photograph ID documents and nominate someone you trust that meets the eligibility criteria to meet, sight and inspect your ID documents. The person nominated cannot be a borrower on the loan, a domestic partner or anyone related to the borrower.
  3. Once you have nominated an appropriate person to inspect your ID documents, the Verification Of Identity service allows you to meet with that person face-to-face anytime, anywhere in Australia. You will need to make sure they also bring their original ID documents to complete the process.

  4. After a successful ID Verification, MaxID issues an ID Verification Certificate to Homestar Finance.
